Eileen Boyle Perich

As Burke & Handley, P.C.’s Of Counsel, Eileen brings over 12 years of commercial and government litigation experience to the firm. She began practicing law as a law clerk in the Circuit Court of Cook County and the Illinois Appellate Court. Since then, she has practiced at a top-tier litigation boutique, an Am 200 law firm, and at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General before joining Burke & Handley, P.C. in 2025.

Eileen has experience working with businesses and individuals through pre-suit negotiations, discovery, litigation, and trial. During her career, Eileen helped to secure an $8 million jury verdict for a small business on various business tort claims. She also represented a hospital system through the eve of trial when she helped to secure a favorable settlement with a managed care organization. Most recently, Eileen represented the State of Illinois and its employees at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General in depositions and in false claims trials. As a Senior Assistant Attorney General, she also investigated claims of fraud, defended the constitutionality of an Illinois statute, and served as interim Chief Legal Counsel at the Illinois Department of Labor. In addition to her practice, Eileen is an arbitrator for the Circuit Court of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, Mandatory Court-Annexed Arbitration.

Eileen enjoys running, biking, and swimming. She volunteers for I AM ALS, an organization that advocates for advancements in ALS research, and is an active member of a nationwide fitness organization, Females in Action.
